And you’ve had drinks after-hours with Frank, Dean, and Sammy in Vegas. But your jet-setting ways won’t keep you in one place very long. How are you going to get in with this all-new In-Crowd? Fortunately, you’ve got an edge and it’s that “Voodoo that you do so well.” Papa Legba has interceded on your behalf and the Loa are listening. Sip your cocktail, warm up your power skulls, and get ready to score some magical monkey points at the Swinging Jivecat Voodoo Lounge! 

Time To Mingle

You and your fellow voodoo spirits have traveled back in time to poke a little fun at the hepcats of the 1950's cocktail culture. Power your mystical influences with voodoo skulls to link these lounge-goers into social cliques that give you access to the coolest party-people that all the hipsters want to be near. Score magical monkey points to hang on your martini glass by adding jivecat contacts to your clique, then claim trend cards through timely and skillful manipulation of your lounge contacts. Be the player with the most monkeys at the end and you’ll be crowned King of the Swinging Jivecat Voodoo Lounge.

Game Play Overview

  1. Use your hand of cards to add lounge lizards to your clique through rules of adjacency and value.
  2. Earn powerful voodoo skulls to work magic and mischief by adding specific lounge lizards to your clique.
  3. Tailor your clique in certain patterns to set the vogue, passé, and retro trends that score you the most monkey points.
  4. Use the voodoo powers on your cards and active trends to gain an edge or cut out your opponents.
  5. Add hipsters and jivecats to your cliques for more scoring power and become the master of the Swinging Jivecat Voodoo Lounge.
