Review Showcase - Valeria Card Kingdoms base game

In today’s post we are going to be showcasing some of the most recent reviews for Valeria Card Kingdoms (the base game, specifically). In future Showcases we will highlight some of the expansion reviews but we’re going to start off where the whole series began.

The land of Valeria is under siege by hordes of monsters. You and your fellow Dukes must recruit citizens and buy domains to build up your kingdoms and slay the foul creatures that lurk in the surrounding lands.

“I love Valeria Card Kingdoms. I probably won’t say that enough. I’ll say it a lot, but it won’t be enough. This is a really good game.”

Jeremiah Isley- Jeremiah is known to his gamer friends as the guy with the renowned “Nerd Room”, a room in his home that has pretty much been taken over by games and gaming supplies, due to Jeremiah’s attempt to run an eBay store for about a year. Jeremiah’s gaming interests include pretty much any board game, as well as several “Dead” or out of print collectible card games.

Joel Kratzer- Joel Kratzer and Jason Smith share their love of board games on the Boardgame Mechanics podcast. A new episode will be dropping every week and will feature a different topical discussion surrounding some aspect of the board gaming hobby.

“With its sound framework, amazing variety, ease of adaptability, and dynamic action, Card Kingdoms is a superior option in the recent category of Roll-for-All designs!”
