Sailing Towards Osiris - Picture Contest

We are going to try something a little bit different and host a picture-posting contest. In conjunction with the new Sailing Towards Osiris expansion, Pharaoh's Pyramid, we want to give players a fun reason to post pictures of our games. This will be a sort of trial run and if it goes well we will do this, and things like it, more often.

Ok, so the way that it works is pretty simple. Take a picture that is of, or directly relates to, Sailing Towards Osiris and then post it to Board Game Geek. For each qualifying picture that you post, your name will be entered into the contest. The winner will be decided randomly via a drawing and that contestant will receive a $50 gift card to our online webstore. The contest will run for 1 week, starting on: 06/03/2019 at 12 p.m. PST (noon) and ending on 06/10/2019 at 12 p.m. PST (noon). There are no limits to the number of entries that an individual can make.

The “directly relates to” part can probably be interpreted in a variety of ways, but it’s important that most people would consider it ‘quality content’. For example, obviously blurry pictures are out. Pictures that don’t have anything to do with the game aren’t going to work. Nothing offensive of course. I mean, basic stuff really. In addition to pictures of you and your group playing the game (which are great!) some other fun ideas could be: Holding a copy of the game while in front of the actual pyramids or dressing up like a pharaoh while holding the game. Being creative is fun! Though, most people won’t have the means to do either of those examples, so we still love nice pictures of gameplay or component shots.
